Denis Glennon AO and I, have combined our respective expertise to present the ’Evolution of the Photographer’ Masterclass Series in Western Australia.

‘The Evolution of the Photographer’ is a description of the underlying intent of the Masterclasses that Denis and I have run and have scheduled to run in the future. We have set out to provide a series of Masterclasses that will address the growth of the photographer in terms of the mindset of the photographer, the skills of the photographer, and the presentation of the image. i.e.: the photographer, the photography and the photograph. We have encompassed much of our content to cover the Journey of Capture, the Decisive Moment and the Journey of Expression. While at the same time endeavoring to inspire an appreciation of the subtler aspects of fine photography. This is an ongoing process and both Denis and I are committed to providing the opportunity for enthusiasts and photographers to explore their photographic potential while gaining the skills necessary to express their individual vision, whatever it may be. All while sharing their passion with others and having fun.

A ‘Holistic’ approach if you will!

Participants will embark on a journey beyond shutter speeds and white balances into the heart of photography – making images that speak, images that tell stories, images that inform the mind and move the heart. Our sympathetic, warm-hearted talks and honest photographs go deep to the core of both the purpose and method of making great photographs. Taking the approach of a free-spirited but sure-footed wanderer we endeavour to ensure, as a participant, you will stay inside our head and therefore vision, right from the moment we shoulder our camera bags and lead you on the first pre-dawn shoot.
